Nutrition

It has never been more important in the history of the human race to eat the right food. And the idea of what constitutes a "good" diet has been confused so many times in the last century that many, if not most people still do not know what foods to eat.

Our Earth has been polluted many times over in the past century by bio-economic disasters, synthetic chemicals, hormones and pesticides, industrial waste, and pollution. And life forms that inhabit and grow here are all subject to this toxic burden. That includes us and our food.

Biologically, every one of us exhibit unique genetic traits. You are unique. There is no one exactly like you, there never was and there never will be again. We all have specific nutritional needs that are unique to us based on our genetic code. And as a species, our genetics have not significantly changed in the last 10,000 years.

Our nutritional requirements are still the same as when we were hunting our meat and foraging for our vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts and seeds. The result is that many of us have intolerances or reactions to these new "common day" foods, especially those that contain gluten, diary and much of the processed refined dead lifeless food that we can find pre-packed on grocery store shelves.

It's time for people to really learn what consitutes a healthy diet and how to properly select their food and prepare it for optimal health. Thinking logically and with nutritional science as our foundation, we can consume food in a manner that fuels us biologically to perform, function, and look our best. And that does NOT mean our food doesn't have to taste good!

And what about using supplements and the thousands of natural health products out there that we can use to benefit our health! Which ones should I really use? And how do you use them properly for optimal results?
